The DELTA 43-792 5-speed sliding table production shaper features a large cast-iron table for handling large workpieces and a dependable, high-powered motor that handles heavy workloads with ease. The sliding table glides across six adjustable ball bearings for ultra-smooth travel with minimal vibration. The dual drop-in spindles (3/4 or 1-1/4-inch diameter) use five different speeds between 3,000 and 10,000 RPM to get the job done quick, and its automatic brake stops the spindle within seconds for easy adjustments or bit changes. The integrated hold-downs keep the workpiece secure during operation for more accurate cuts, and for even more hold down support, the miter gauge sports work clamps for added strength on larger workpieces. The dependable 7-1/2 HP, three-phase motor changes its speed nearly instantaneously thanks to the built-in belt tensioning lever.
