I've used this compressor just over five times and it's already worthless to me; thus, the reason that I'm giving it a one star rating. The long black "PLASTIC" air pressure control knob began failing after three uses; every time I would turn the knob to ajust the required pressure, the plastic threads from the knob would just grind with the metal threads from the tank's metal tube which in turn I could never reach the desired PSI. I could get it as high as 70 or 80 PSI but then it would skip and the air would be lost again. After repeating this process so many times, my hands would be in pain and close to blistering from turning that knob. The few times that I was able to make it work, the compressor worked great; however, if you can't get the knob to turn properly then the compressor is useless. The worst part is that it sat unused for a long time, so now it's too late to return it to Amazon. Whoever made this thing was not thinking properly or never worked with such tools - just a horrible design and now I'm out of my money and compressor. I do not recommend this product!

Comment:
Never owned an air compressor before. This small unit is perfect for my small garage workshop. The accessories are NOT of a high quality; I would have preferred a few more higher quality and more useful accessories. But I'd purchased this unit again. The price and performance produced a valued tool for my woodworking area.

Who would think that having a compressor would make such a big difference in a person's life, but it has. I've used this little compressor to clean my computer, clean smoke alarms (they go mad when dust or a little bug gets stuck in them) and the obvious maintain car's tire pressure. For me being able to put air in my tires at home makes this compressor worth having. The hassle of using a commercial compressor with their timers and wonky hoses is enough to make you go mad, especially when you're in a dress and heals! I once spent several dollars just to fill two tires. If you're fortunate to find a free compressor, there is usually something wrong with it and it comes with a line of waiting vehicles with impatient drivers. The first time I put air in my tires at home, I felt such relief.
As a previous reviewer noted the hose is on the cheap side, but for household stuff it works just fine. There is a fine assortment of nozzles too. The compressor is easy to maintain, instructions and warnings are clearly written. I purchased this compressor almost a year ago and waited until now to write a review. Wanted to see if something bad about it would come up with use, it hasn't. My Porter-Cable compressor is one of my favourite tools!

It's nice to have an air source that has some depth. The last pump I had was only 2 gal and took forever to come to pressure. This one comes up to a higher pressure fast and the 6 gal tank gives me plenty of reserve to unplug the compressor and take it out to the car for tire inflation. Great for blowing off stuff - the 150 psi keeps the volume going.
