For anyone who has ever tried to use theit Shop Vac to clean up firewood ash, drywall dust, or other fine powder only to find more dust spread over the room than in the vacuum, this will do the trick. They work flawlessly. If there's a downside, it is that they are smaller than the tank and fill up way faster... of course, there is the fact that, unlike the tank alone with fine powder, they do fill up! :)

Great for pellet stoves

I use these bags in my shop vac to suck up the ash in my pellet stove. The fine dust of wood pellets is something that most filter bags will just release back into the air, and this bag traps every thing. You can practically eat off the inside of the shop vac! Great product, and a must have to clean out your pellet stove without getting the ash everywhere in your home. (p.s. make sure the stove is cold when vacuuming ash)

We tore out the kitchen, walls and all, and I bought one of these at the local hardware store where I bought the new, bigger/better shopvac after the small one we had couldn't keep up. When that bag was almost full of plaster dust, I order more, they came quickly as always with Amazon Prime, and they kept us working. As promised, they don't leak all that dust and are worth the upgrade from regular bags. (Note: had to buy a new filter, too.)

Has stood up to vacuuming debris and heavy dust after demolition work. There was no sign of leak-through and the bag withstood an onslaugt of nails without giving way. A few bucks less than bb store if you get free shipping.

What a terrific idea. This is the handiest item I've added to the garage in years. Out of the way and tons quieter than my old roll around unit. I've wired mine permanently into a switched outlet on the wall and with the 18 foot hose, I can reach every corner of the garage and interiors of both cars.
